LIBR 595 – Practicum (0 credits) [MLIS, Dual Students]

Students interested in applying for a Practicum this upcoming December (December 1 – December 12) must send an application to the iSchool Student Services Coordinator by Monday, September 15.

The Practicum is an optional two-week full-time placement usually completed at the end of your second term at the school. It cannot be done at end of your final term at the school. Students attain valuable professional experience that can inform your studies at the iSchool and enhance your resume. The course is not-for-credit and students cannot accept any reimbursement from the host organization.

ARST 595 – Internship (3 Credits) [MAS, Dual Students]

Students interested in applying for an Internship this upcoming Winter (January 5 – March 27) must send an application to the iSchool Student Services Coordinator by Monday, September 22.

The Internship is an optional three-month full-time placement usually completed at the end of your second term at the school. Students must have completed at least 24 credits in the MAS program before applying for an internship.

While Internships usually take place over the Summer, some students wish to complete an internship in the Winter months.
