InfoCamp Seattle 2012 (MLIS and Dual students)

You’re invited to InfoCamp Seattle 2012!
InfoCamp is an unconference for the information community. It features an egalitarian, community-driven format in which the agenda is created during the event — so anyone can sign up to lead a session.
What: InfoCamp Seattle 2012
When: October 13 & 14
Where: Mary Gates Hall, University of Washington
This year we’ll be gathering again at the University of Washington’s beautiful Seattle campus on October 13th and 14th. The Saturday opening festivities and keynote and Sunday plenary speaker are in the Kane Hall auditorium. All other events, the sessions designed and led by you, our fearless InfoCampers, will happen in Mary Gates Hall (home of the UW’s Information School).
This year, our Saturday opening keynote will be given by City Librarian Marcellus Turner who oversees the Seattle Public Library. Turner holds a master’s degree in library science from the University of Tennessee and has over 20 years of experience in libraries. For more information about Marcellus, check out his bio on the SPL website. On Sunday morning, we’ll be hearing from Dan Klyn. Dan started working as an information architect in 1997. As a passionate advocate for the craft, Dan balances IA practice with teaching graduate students information architecture at the University of Michigan’s School of Information.
