Two grants available for MLIS students attending the SLA Annual Conference in Vancouver

MLIS STUDENTS!

Are you currently attending a library or information sciences school and wish to attend the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference in Vancouver from June 8-10, 2014? The Competitive Intelligence Division of the Special Libraries Association is offering two student grants to pay your registration in return for your part-time assistance with conference activities.

Your duties include attending some sessions for the division and managing on site tasks such as transporting a projector to the session, handing out evaluation forms, and helping with session issues. You will have ample opportunity to attend various sessions of your choice during your free time! We pay your registration fee; however, all other costs are your responsibility. This is an ideal opportunity for local students, but might also assist a non-local student to defray part of their expenses.

If you are interested, call Mr. Mason Baldwin at (910) 889-1182 or email robert.m.baldwin.naf@mail.mil by May 15,2014 and discuss this opportunity.
