iSchool Student Curates Charles van Sandwyk Exhibition [All Students]

Charles van Sandwyk and the Children’s Literary Tradition is currently on display at UBC Library’s Rare Books and Special Collections. The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday-Friday (10:00-4:00pm) and Saturdays (12:00-5:00pm). In addition to works by Charles van Sandwyk, there will be items on display by Walter Crane, Arthur Rackham, and Beatrix Potter.

The curator, SLAIS student Kristy Woodcock, will be offering informal tours of the exhibition for students and faculty at SLAIS. Public tours can be arranged by calling RBSC (604-822-2521).  Kristy would also be happy to give a quick overview of how to do research at RBSC.

Tour dates:

Monday, October 21 (1:00-1:50)

Thursday, October 24 (12:00-12:50)

Tours will end with enough time for students to get to their afternoon classes. To sign up for either date, please RSVP to kawoodco@gmail.com

Kristy Woodcock curated the project as part of the LIBR 596: Professional Experience course.
