To all students,

As a new term begins at the school, you may notice some personnel changes in the iSchool office in the coming weeks. Dan Slessor, Student Services Coordinator, has taken on a new position outside of UBC and will be leaving his current position with the iSchool at the end of September. His role as Student Services Coordinator remains unchanged until then.

As a result of this personnel change, there will be several other shifts among the office staff:

• Melissa Nightingale, our current Program Assistant, will be acting as the Student Services Coordinator (ischool.ssc@ubc.ca) beginning in October and continuing until a permanent replacement for Dan’s position is identified.
• Veronika Yorumez, our current Information Assistant, will move to the role of Program Assistant (ischool.program@ubc.ca).
• A new staff member, Peter Woods, will be temporarily joining us as the school’s new Information Assistant (ischool.info@ubc.ca).

Connie Wintels’ role as Administrative Assistant (ischool.admin@ubc.ca) remains unchanged, as does Mary Grenier’s role as Administration Manager (m.grenier@ubc.ca).

The office will be working diligently over September to train and prepare all of the staff members for their new roles. We appreciate your patience and understanding as the office staff get comfortable in their new positions.
