A reminder to attend the PLIG sponsored, BCLA conference session with Toni Samek and the PLIG AGM meeting both on Saturday, May 11th:

NOTE:  To attend this or any other conference session you MUST be registered for the conference.

2)   The PLIG AGM will be held on Saturday, May 11th, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm during the BCLA conference, after all.  (Meeting in Room:  Westminster 2)

Toni Samek will also be attending our meeting.

RSVP for the AGM is by Friday, April 19th to: Jane Curry, jane.curry@vpl.ca , or Ana Rosa Blue anarosa.blue@worksafebc.com Room designation is dependent on our attendance numbers.   We will give you as much notice in advance as possible if there is a room change.

NOTE:  To attend this meeting you do NOT need to register for the conference.  However, if only attending the AGM, 12:30 PM meeting, please DO NOT wander about into other areas of the conference venue.  This has been a problem in the past and BCLA has expressly asked us to stress that attendance at your SIG meeting is free, but if you want to see anything else associated with the conference to please register.   Let’s set an example and abide by this request!

The agenda for the May 11th 2013 AGM will follow in another email. It will include an excellent opportunity for someone interested in taking on a leadership position as the new BCLA, PLIG Convenor for 2013-14. We would like to have some names of persons interested in serving as our new convenor(s) by the end of the meeting, as Jane Curry and I plan to step down as co-convenors this year.
